Devon Premier Pods

Premier pods were the first arrivals to The Shire and are as popular today as they were when they first arrived! As with all our glamping accommodations they offer the same outdoor holiday experience as camping but with a few of the often-missed creature comforts.

Both premier pods are identical and are named Primrose and Poppy. They offer a more spacious glamping experience with three rooms, comprising a double bedroom and a twin bedroom both linked with a central dining/kitchenette space. The rooms can be separated with curtains to offer a little privacy. These are ideal for a family of four plus a pet.

There are large energy-saving lightbulbs on bright orange cords providing lighting in each room. The light twin bedroom doubles up to provide cushioned bench seats. The double bedroom offers shelves for storing your items and an under-bed storage box. There is a long mirror in the double bedroom so you can check your appearance before you leave!

The central dining area is complete with a dining table, four stools, a fridge with a freezer compartment, microwave, kettle, toaster, cupboard and shelving to store your food. A picnic table is provided for al fresco eating along with a love seat to really relax.
The generous deck has a canopy above, providing undercover space for the whole family to sit and enjoy the relaxing environment of The Shire.

There is a shared toilet block exclusively for our glamping guests, with shower and laundry facilities in the main amenities block.
